I know we've said it before but this may have been our longest hiatus yet and we apologize. Some of you may have heard/read that the lovely computer that has carried us through 42 episodes of this fantabulous podcast met its early demise last week. Apparently you shouldn't spill water directly on your keyboard. Who knew?
THAT SAID, we're back and better than ever. We hope you enjoy episode 43 and please let us know if you do! Get into it! IN THEATERS Transformers: Age of Extinction - Age of LONGEST MOVIE EVER THEME MOVIES National Velvet - So charming. Watch it, everyone. Remake it, Hollywood. Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken - Did Hannah actually say this movie could be longer?? Seabiscuit - That horse knows what's up. Hidalgo - Not as horrible as the gals remembered. Welcome back, Flickers! Get pumped for episode 42. Anne and Hannah discuss Jenny Slate's new and refreshing rom-com and then they take a look at the many faces of Glenn Close. Get into it!
IN THEATERS Obvious Child - This one shows us that it's not always. THEME MOVIES The Big Chill - What does this title mean? Seriously, Hannah wants to know. Fatal Attraction - Not Basic Instinct. Sarah, Plain and Tall - Glenn, Handsome and Famous Paradise Road - Come to think of it, we're puzzled by this title too. Empty sentamentality--kinda like the movie, itself.
